Ipe Fasteners Information

Use 1/8” diameter drill bits to pre-drill your deck boards before installing stainless steel trim screws. Installing your Garapa Decking with non-stainless steel fasteners can result in black metal marks around the fastener.

When installing Garapa Decking on the surface of your deck platform, we recommend attaching it with Ipe Clips. Ipe Clips are made with plastic and stainless steel components that will hold your deck boards well for many years to come. When installing Ipe Clips, pre-drill prior to installing screws.
