Fiberon Fasteners Information
We recommend installing grooved deck boards on your deck platform surface. Fiberon manufactures grooved boards to be installed with their Phantom clips. Clips can be purchased in 50 sq. ft. of 500 sq. ft. quantities. No pre-drilling is required when installing Fiberon decking with clips.
To install Fiberon deck boards around the perimeter or on the edges where clips cannot be installed – we recommend using Cortex screw and plug system. Each box of Cortex screws comes with plugs and screws specifically designed to match all colors of Fiberon decking. Installing Cortex screws and plugs is easy, you drive the screw into the decking and prepare a hole for your plug in one motion, no need to change drill bits. Plugs are installed without glue.
To install Fiberon fascia boards we recommend using color matched stainless steel screws. These screws allow for movement in the fascia board.
