About Trex Enhance Basics Clam Shell

Build a deck in classic European style with the dark gray Clam Shell boards from the Trex Enhance Basics collection. Trex brings you quality deck material for the low price of $43 per deck. Composite boards from the Trex Enhance Basics can be installed by yourself. They are easy to maintain and do not require painting or sanding. They are covered with a layer that protects them from scratches, fading in the sun and deformation and decay.

The Trex Enhance Basics Clam Shell boards are available in square edge and grooved edge profiles. The height of one board, regardless of the profile, is 0.94″, and the width is 5.5″. Boards are available in 12', 16' or 20' lengths. Trex also offers two sizes of fascia to finish to edges deck and stair risers.

Accessories for Trex installation

Square edge boards can be installed with usual screws. But to install Trex Enhance boards with grooved edges you need to use a special Hidden Fastening System. When building the deck, it is also possible to install lighting to create a cozy atmosphere. The brand offers branded lamps with a 5-year warranty. Remember that along with the decking, you can install Trex composite railings. If you have a multi-level deck, then having them will make your veranda more secure.

Warranty for Trex Enhance Basics

Trex Enhance Basics Clam Shell boards come with a 25-year residential warranty and a 10-year commercial warranty. The manufacturer also provides a 25-year guarantee that the decking will retain a rich dark gray color and will not fade in the sun.
